If you’re on the lookout for a new streaming service, we’ve found the best streaming service deals for this month. While streaming services typically stick to a standard price, seasonal holidays like Black Friday often see big price cuts on popular apps and subscriptions.
Streaming services have completely changed the way we watch and consume entertainment. From Netflix to Amazon Prime, everyone has at least one streaming subscription that unlocks premium and exclusive content.
These deals are focused on streaming services available to the UK. If you want to watch content from apps like Hulu and HBO which aren't yet available in this country, you’ll have to use a streaming VPN (opens in new tab). We’ll also be updating this guide as more deals and services arrive in the UK.

Are there any free streaming services?
The quick answer here is yes! The majority of streaming services come with a subscription fee that you will have to pay for (like the ones above). However, you can access other streaming services for free, typically because they're owned and operated by TV networks and channels.
For example, BBC iPlayer (opens in new tab), All 4 (opens in new tab), the ITV Hub (opens in new tab) and My5 (opens in new tab) are all UK streaming platforms that you can access for free via an app on your TV, laptop, phone or tablet. As they're owned by network companies (BBC, Channel 4, ITV and Channel 5), these platforms do require you to have a TV license. These platforms are best for catch-up TV if you missed an episode of something the night or week before. Full series are typically on there too so you can binge watch multiple seasons of your favourite shows.
Pluto TV (opens in new tab) – a Paramount company and US streaming service – is also free to users in the UK, US and other countries. It has over 100 channels and thousands of movies and TV shows to watch live or on demand for free, either via the Pluto website or the app which is available to download via the Apple Store, Google Store and Amazon App Store.
We've put together a guide on the best free streaming services (opens in new tab) both in the UK and US if you want more details.
What streaming services aren't available in the UK?
There are many streaming services that are only available in the US and not the UK. Some of these streaming apps are planning to make a move to the UK in the future, like Paramount+ (opens in new tab) which arrived in the UK & Ireland on the 22nd June 2022 (opens in new tab).
There are also some streaming services that are accessible through other subscriptions but not on their own. For example, you can access Hulu (opens in new tab) shows and Originals via Disney+ but you can't just sign up to Hulu on its own in the UK yet but this could change down the line.
Other streaming services only available in the US are fuboTV (opens in new tab), HBO Max (opens in new tab) and Philo (opens in new tab) but we'll update this guide if and when these apps become accessible in the UK.
